A Worship Leader (Lay Reader) is a layperson who regularly leads public worship under the direction of the Member of Clergy or other leader exercising oversight of the congregation or other community of faith. A license is issued for a period of time not to exceed three years. Training is required for Worship Leaders by a member of the Clergy.
