Education for Ministry
We use the term formation to refer to Christian education, but formation means so much more. It is a life-long process of being formed in the faith and as together we seek to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.
At Emmanuel, we are dedicated to offering a variety of opportunities to deepen your faith, to explore Scripture and theology, and to connect with others. We hope to encourage a sense of openness as we seek to learn about God and each other and to provide a community where all people can find spiritual nourishment. Weekly Adult Formation

Bible Study: Mondays 11:00am
Join us at 11:00 am in the Guild Room as we read through and discuss Forward Day by Day (available at church). You are encouraged to bring whatever Bible translation you are most comfortable with. It is a great way to start out the week!

Book Study: Wednesdays 10:45am
Join us in the Guild Room on Wednesdays at 10:45am as we gather together for fun, fellowship, and fruitful discussion! This study is led by Laurie Holden.

Come to the Men’s Book study each Thursday evening at 7:00pm and join us in diving into fellowship and a deeper relationship with God. This study is led by Steve Millender.

Adult Forum
· Sept. 13 and 20 God, Life, You and Me: A discussion on the important topics of life in faith: Gratitude, loving ourselves, hope in suffering, and dealing with doubt. Led by Bishop David Bane. Meets in the Guild Room.
· Sept 27 Ministry Fair: Get connected and meet new folks. No Forum.
· October 4, 11, 18 & 25: What is stewardship? Beyond the pledge campaign: Led by Fr. Morris & Mtr. Sara. Meets in the Parish Hall.

Confirmation Class: Sundays Beginning September 13, 11:30am
Exploring the Christian Faith and The Episcopal Church:
Confirmation is for adults who are interested in a deeper exploration of the Christian faith and The Episcopal Church. Everyone is welcome, and the class is required to be confirmed, for reaffirmation, or being received into the Episcopal Church during our bishop’s visit in February, 2027. Lunch is provided during classes. Please register with Mother Sara.
