The prayer-shawl ministry group at Emmanuel known as the Knit Wits meets in the church library from 10:00 a.m. to noon on the first Thursday of the month September through May. The group gathers in fellowship to work on shawls, lap robes and baptismal blankets. These beautiful items are then taken to people who are in need of a hug, a little TLC, and the warmth that only something hand-made with love cn bring them. If you like to knit or crochet, please consider joining this group. It is a wonderful minstry which serves an important need in our parish. For anyone not able to make our meetings, you may choose to work on your project at home using patterns provided or your own.
