Kickoff: April 19, 2026, Reservoir Park (parking at SCC, see below)

FIRST HIKE: Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 2:00-3:30pm

WHERE: Reservoir Park, Southern Pines

PARKING: Due to anticipated high demand and limited parking spaces at the Reservoir Park, we’ll park at Sandhills Community College, 3395 Airport Road.

DIRECTIONS TO PARK: Coming towards SCC on Airport Drive, from the airport, turn left onto College Circle, turn right onto Earhardt Ave, continue to the rear of the Einstein Parking lot, and park at the intersection of Earhardt Ave. and Wilbur Blvd. We’ll start hiking from here on access trail to Reservoir Park.

DISTANCE: 2.5 – 3.5 miles

SURFACE: Mostly flat on packed trail, some sandy areas , pine straw, and limited concrete

DIFFICULTY: Easy
